Mitsubishi fuel injector nozzle
The function of the Mitsubishi
fuel injector nozzle is to provide the right amount of fuel,
at the right moment and
in a suitable condition for
the combustion process (no fluid). The fuel injector has two
basic parts, the nozzle and the nozzle holder or body. High-pressured fuel enters
and travels down in the injector body and then into the nozzle head, ending
finally in the nozzle chamber surrounding the needle valve. The needle valve is held closed on a seat by
an spindle and spring in the injector body. The spring pressure (injector
opening pressure), can be set by a nut which acts on the spring. The nozzle and
injector body are manufactured as a matching pair to give a good oil seal.
